Gokū tiene pesadillas mientras sufre su enfermedad. Piccolo, Ten Shin Han y Krilin vuelan a las montañas a buscar el laboratorio. Lo mismo hacen Vegeta y Trunks, quien intenta convencer a su padre de no pelear con los androides. El androide 20 se encuentra con Krilin quien intenta detenerlo, pero es golpeado fácilmente por él y escapa. Llega al laboratorio junto con él, pero ingresa antes mientras Krilin avisa a los demás. El doctor activa los androides 17 y 18 y les ordena destruir a los amigos de Gokū, pero éstos se rebelan contra él.
