Mientras Kagome sigue en su época, acompaña a Sota a visitar a su amigo llamado Satoru en el hospital, ahí descubre que un espíritu lo está acechando, Kagome investiga y descubre que es el espectro de su pequeña hermana llamada Mayu, quien falleció en el incendio de su propia casa, como la niña tiene mucho resentimiento, su espíritu no puede descansar en paz y molesta a todo aquel que le demuestre afecto a su hermano, por lo cual Tatarimoke hace lo posible para calmarla y llevársela.
