Vemos a Kero y Sakura profundamente dormidos, el padre de Sakura y Toya también están allí. Concebido que podría tener fiebre, le palpa la frente. Sakura se despierta un poco y lucha por mostrarle a su padre y a su hermano que está bien, solo que cansada. Finalmente salen de su habitación, pero en la puerta, Toya mira a Kero por unos minutos, luego se va.
Fuera del dormitorio, ambos hombres prometen volver a casa temprano de la escuela y del trabajo para ver cómo está Sakura. Kero se sienta en la cama y se queja de que Toya se está dando cuenta de lo que está sucediendo. Intenta decirle algo a Sakura, pero en cambio ella lo ignora y se vuelve a dormir. Luego arropa a Sakura y se da cuenta de que el libro de Sakura (creo) está brillando.
