La siguiente ronda de Duelos empieza y Joey tiene que enfrentar a Zigfried Lloyd. Mientras el Duelo se desarrolla, Zigfried introduce un virus en el sistema de Kaiba. Seto sospecha inicialmente de Rebecca pero tras recordar sucesos del pasado se acuerda de que Zigfried ya hizo lo mismo con el sistema de Gozaburo Kaiba. El Duelo continúa favorable para Joey hasta que Zigfried logra activar su Mágica "Cabalgata de las Valkirias" y está a punto de ganar.
