Ed y Al se separan de los hombres de Kimblee encontrándose con Mei y Marcoh. Scar es encontrado por dos hombres de Kimblee: Zampano y Jerso que son en realidad quimeras y comienzan a pelear con él. Ed y Al llegan hasta el lugar de la batalla y derrotan a las quimeras y luego empiezan atacar a Scar. La llegada de Winry distrae a Scar aprovechando Ed para sujetarlo a un muro. Mientras tanto en Brigs llega una delegación de central. Pero ocurre que el edificio donde estaban los Elric, Winry y los otros explota, viéndose como Scar sujeta a Winry con el antebrazo dentro del humo.
