Cuando llegan a la capital republicana, ciudad de Nueva Helic, Bang ayuda a un soldado imperial que iba a ser linchado. Debido a esto son perseguidos y, junto al Dr. D, hechos prisioneros. Luego la presidenta de la república los visita y, al reconocer al Dr. D, son liberados. Más tarde el fugitivo roba un Command Wolf y ataca la ciudad dejando varias víctimas, pero es derrotado por Bang, que se culpa de lo ocurrido. Por otra parte el capitán Herman (que resultó ser el hijo de la presidenta), pilotea un Pteras por tareas de reconocimiento de un extraño iceberg, que reconoce como del imperio, y es derribado.
