Proitzen, que planea apoderarse del Imperio, organiza un escuadrón de búsqueda del príncipe, pero al mismo tiempo ordena secretamente a Raven que se deshaga de ellos. Mientras, Rudolph le pide a Bang que le enseñe a conducir zoids. Más tarde, cuando encuentran restos de zoids destruidos aparece el Dr. D que se encontraba investigando. Al anochecer Rudolph planea escapar para evitarles problemas, pero es detenido por Bang y Fine. En ese momento aparece Shadow que toma como rehén al príncipe para que Bang no pueda evitar el combate con Raven. Durante el combate el Geno Saurer lanza un disparo que destruye el “Zoids Core” (la parte más vital y corazón del zoids) de Shield Liger, matándolo.
