El capitán O'Connell encuentra unas ruinas en un poblado, y Bang con Fine se dirigen a investigarlas. Sin embargo las personas del pueblo y el capitán desaparecen. En una iglesia se encuentran con un niño, al que Fine cuidará mientras Bang investiga que sucedió. Aquel niño es en realidad el causante de lo sucedido, y utilizando sus poderes mentales y su organoide pone en apuros a Bang. Sin embargo Bang logra recuperar la confianza y derrotar a su oponente, pero este escapa.
