Ichigo y sus amigos conocen a la niña pequeña, la cual se llama Nell, y también a sus dos hermanos llamados Pesche y Dondochakka. El insecto gigante se llama Bawabawa y es la mascota de Nell. La pequeña Nell le explica a Ichigo y a los demás que solamente estaban jugando un juego que ellos habían creado. Después aparece un hollow de clase menos llamado Lunganga. El menos ataca haciendo que Ichigo, Nell y los demás sean atrapados por una trampa de arena, cuando la situación era desesperante, aparece Rukia y Abarai Renji ayudándolos y destruyendo al menos. Al final, Ichigo y los demás están encima de Bawabawa para poder entrar en las noches pero su viaje es interrumpido nuevamente por Lunganga.
