El viejo maestro visita a Okko, ambos recuerdan la época en la que Shiryū y Okko entrenaban con el viejo maestro, sin embargo Okko fue expulsado por su carácter agresivo. Shiryū decide enfrentar finalmente a Okko, a pesar de su ceguera. Okko se cubre los ojos con su cinturón, para hacer justo el combate. Shiryū usa el Dragón Ascendente de Rozan, pero Okko sobrevive al ataque. Shiryū sabe que si usa otra vez el Dragón Ascendente, podrá en peligro su vida, pero finalmente entiende el porque pelea y enfrenta una vez más a Okko con su técnica y lo vence. El moribundo camarada, felicita a Shiryū, mientras que el viejo maestro lo acepta nuevamente como discípulo, pero es demasiado tarde para Okko. Ante su tumba, Shiryū promete regresar y pelear nuevamente al lado de Seiya y los demás. Mientras tanto el cuerpo de la Armadura de oro de Sagitario y el casco se reúnen nuevamente hundiéndose en las profundidades de un río.
