Sigfried ataca a Seiya pero Shaina llega y se interpone recibiendo el golpe. Shiryu empieza a luchar y pero no puede hacer nada contra Sigfried. Cuando Shiryu se dispone a usar el Dragón Final se escucha la voz de Shura que dice que no lo haga. Recuerda la leyenda del verdadero Sigfried que cuando mató a un Dragón y se mojó con su sangre se volvió inmortal pero una hoja de árbol cayó en su cuerpo dejando desprotegida una parte. Ahora está dispuesto a arriesgar su vida para golpearlo en su punto débil, la zona del corazón queda desprotegida en un momento del ataque. Sigfried utiliza la ventisca del Dragón y Shiryu su Dragón Naciente. Shiryu golpea su corazón pero él también es golpeado y cae. Shiryu le dice a Seiya que tiene el mismo punto débil que él.
